WELCOMING LIGHT

As we begin this new lunation, the new cycle of the moon, I feel the energy of intention calling for our attention.

In the last couple of weeks, I have been in ceremony for my son and the 60th week since his passing, the 14th full moon and a year since we scattered his ashes into the Pacific Ocean.  Amongst all of that… Lāhainā, the town that once held me while I lived and worked after university has burnt down, taking the homes and lives of many.

My ceremonies continued and still, they remain.

I was speaking to a friend earlier today about the role I play in ceremony.  A sacred space where I can connect with the deepest part of me, the earth, the heavens and generate loving kindness and healing for those who are suffering.

The experience of grief and the way it shows up in my life on a daily basis has been a big part of what and how I practice.

This lunation so far, has been instrumental in my practice.  I observe and appreciate how the moon reveals her glow in small amounts each day, noticing how I glow with her (emotionally, spiritually and physically).

While in practice, I hold the earth and humanity in ceremony so that we may learn to co-create with loving kindness.  My intentions are pure and my rituals, steeped in love.

May you be blessed with loving kindness, tenderness and peace.

Love heals.
